Alex Youn was awarded first place for the CCMBM Predoctoral Poster Competition at the UCSF CCMBM Conference 2026 for his poster titled, “Neurobiological Markers of Pain Following Rotator Cuff Injury: Implications for Neuropathic Mechanisms.” This study focuses on his ongoing research exploring the role of neuropathic pain in chronic rotator cuff injury.
